Feathers, Fur, Fins & More, 3 of 8: Jill

It's all about those cute and adorable critters that make us go "Aww".

Today's feathers find themselves in the form of Penny Black's Creative Die, 51-305 Let's Fly.
My card base was inked with Picked Raspberry Distress Ink using an ink blending tool and a foam pad. I then rounded the corners and stamped the herringbone pattern (Penny Black 30-240 Textures) using Rose Madder Archival Ink.  The flowers (Penny Black 40-543 First Blush) were stamped using Ranger Potting Soil Archival Ink onto Canson 140 Lb. Watercolor Paper, and were painted with Distress Reinkers used as watercolors.  Once dry, Vintage Photo Distress Ink was added to the background with an ink blending tool and foam pad.  The sentiment (Penny Black 30-409 Faith) was also stamped with Potting Soil Archival ink. A small green strip of paper was glued to the painted panel and then the entire panel was mounted to the card with dimensional adhesive.  The bird die (Penny Black 51-305 Let's Fly) was inked with Potting Soil Archival ink. Cardstock inked with Vintage Photo Distress Ink was added to the back of the bird before adhering it to the card.
